Vacation Bible School 2013
Vacation Bible School is a magical week at Trinity. For one week during the summer, over 300 children ages 4 to 11 learn about God in a fun, familiar and loving environment. Dozens of volunteers, including teenagers and retirees teach the children Biblical concepts through lively Bible stories, fun crafts, active games and lively music. This year, Vacation Bible School will be held July 8-12 from 9am to 12pm.

The fee is $25 per child if you register before May 31, 2013. After May 31, the fee is $30 per child. Fees cover all snacks and a tee shirt for each child. Click here to download registration and volunteer forms.

The Fast That I Choose
One in six people around the world struggle with hunger. God wants us remove the chains of oppression and the yokes of injustice, especially those of hunger. In our current Mission Sunday School class, The Fast That I Choose, we are examining the  issue of hunger from biblical, national, community, and individual perspectives. Join us on Sunday, May 26,  as Rev. Katy Wheat and Trinity Intern Ellie Thompson lead us through a discussion of  Hunger is My Issue. This study seeks to make clear that one of the surest ways to test the quality of our walk with God is to examine the way we respond in faith to the needs of others.

Remember! The first Sunday of every Month is
both Communion and 'One Can' Sunday

On Communion Sundays we encourage the Trinity community to bring one food item per person for our NNEMAP Food Pantry. Communion Sunday is a time when our Trinity family gathers around God's Table to give thanks for and celebrate God's abundant love, and to be nourished by God's grace. What better way to give thanks to God than by helping to feed all God's children?! Never donated a can of food to the NNEMAP Pantry? Now's a great time to start. Drop off donations in the closet outside the prayer chapel near the Sanctuary. We need sardines, Spam, tuna fish, fruits, Canned ravioli/spaghetti, bottled water, juice, instant coffee, tea (bags), hot chocolate and sports drinks. Please place items in the box marked NNEMAP in the closet across from the Meditation Room. For questions, contact Sarah Borders .
